Billy Stern, President

Billy Stern has been playing acoustic and electric guitar for over 30 years. His deep love for guitar and his quest to find the most enriching musical experience for his elementary school age children led him to Guitars in the Classroom.

Billy received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. He then went on to work in the technology field, conducting strategic marketing and information research at Brooktree Corporation, a maker of multimedia /communications integrated circuits. After nearly a decade in the corporate world, he became a business consultant to a variety of companies and individuals.

Currently Billy is pursuing projects that seek to make a difference in the areas of sustainable living and music education. The inspirations in his life are his wife and two sons. His passions include guitar, surfing, gardening and nature.
